Medical Mission Sisters are a religious congregation who profess public vows. Being rooted in Christ is central to our life. We live together in community which is an expression of our commitment to one another. Our bonds of loyalty and friendship are a source of strength and joy. We live our Mission by sharing our resources, whatever they may be trusting in God's goodness and care., and joining together with others to create a more just and human world.

Our Healing Mission

“Our mission is to be present to life in the spirit of Jesus the Healer” and to witness His love and compassion for those made poor especially women and children. The desire to be women for women in a fragmented world urges us to be healing persons. As an international Congregation 640 Medical Mission Sisters minister today in 19 countries on five continents. Together we commit ourselves to respond relevantly to justice issues and promote health, healing and wholeness in all aspects of life. The ecological degradation and devastation calls us to be wounded healers caring for the preservation of earth and its resources for the future generations.

Together, and with others with similar values, we now serve in:-

Africa: Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia ; Asia: India, East Asia: Pakistan, Indonesia, The Philippines;Europe: England, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium. Italy; North America: United States, Mexico; Latin America : Venezuela, Peru, Brazil.
