There are 229 Medical Mission Sisters in 33 communities in India .We come from varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds and work together in 13 states in three Provinces - District North India, District South India and District North East India, having ourhead quarters in Pune, Kottayam and Mendipathar respectively. The three Districts form Sector Asia.

In India we give expression to our charism of healing in various ways. Participation in People’s Movements, Community Development Programmes, Organization and Empowerment of Women, Youth and Children, Caring for people living with HIV/AIDS and substance abuse, Caring for the Earth, Holistic Health Centers, Hospitals, Health Centers, Counseling Centers, Pastoral Care, Faith formation, Education , Schools of Nursing and Midwifery and Paramedical Training Programmes.
